The Golden Mile Apartments on the Palm Jumeirah went on sale at the Arabian Travel Market in May 2004 and were completely sold out within 48 hours. They raised the standard for quality freehold apartments on the Palm. This boutique development on the Palm trunk comprises ten apartment buildings of six storeys with six hundred and fifty shops and restaurants running along the length of the park and mono-rail.
